Here are some highlights of my Élan's service history. 

Originally purchased by first owner from a dealer in Woburn, MA, USA in April 1968.

First owner picked up car at factory in England and toured Europe before returning to Massachusetts. Car also spent two years in Arizona before returning again to MA.

mechanical overhaul including chassis
replacement, brakes, fuel tank, etc.
62,876 1993-03-31 Car back on the road!
64,000 1993-08-01 Minor gearbox problem
plus cold-engine smoking caused
next off-road period. Fixed the gearbox easily,
but had no time to work on the engine...
64,000 1998-03-15 At Sports and Vintage Car,
Plainfield, NH:
Rebuild engine: re-bore block
and completely rework head.
64,000 1998-07-15 Completion of engine rebuild.
64,850 1998-09-10 Installed new carpeting.
65,930 1999-10-13 Current mileage.
66,000 1999-12-22 Sold car to new owner, who is anonymous for the
time being. There is a clue to his identity on this site,
though. Can you find it?  ;-)
